International Day for Countering Hate Speech was observed today.

Theme of this year was "the Power of Youth for Countering and Addressing Hate Speech,” to highlights the crucial role that young people play in fostering a more inclusive and harmonious society.

The purpose of the day was to counter discrimination, xenophobia and hate speech and to address this phenomenon in line with international human rights law.
