In Libya, seven people were killed in a road collision in eastern region of Derna.

In a statement, the Regional Health Minister said that four members of a Greek rescue team en route to the flood-ravaged city of Derna and three members of a Libyan family are among the deceased.

He said that the team was travelling on a bus from the eastern city Benghazi to the flood-ravaged city of Derna when their vehicle collided with a car carrying the family.
