President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended security forces for successful operations against the India-backed Fitna al-Khawarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In their separate statements, they paid tribute to the brave personnel who were martyred while conducting operations against the terrorists.

The President said the great sacrifices of the martyrs further strengthen the nation’s resolve emphasizing that Pakistan’s brave sons are sacrificing their lives for the defense of the homeland and the cause of peace.

He said the sacrifices of the security forces in the war against terrorism are unforgettable.

The Prime Minister said our brave sons who sacrificed their lives for the defense, peace, and security of the homeland, are heroes of the entire nation.

He said the great sacrifices of the martyrs are a guiding light for the nation, and their blood will not go in vain.

Shehbaz Sharif said operations by the security forces and law-enforcement agencies to completely eliminate terrorism will continue with full force.
