Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 37 runs in the opening match of the Tri-nation One Day International Cricket Series in Rawalpindi tonight [Sunday].

Batting first, Pakistan were all out at 305 runs in 49.5 overs.  Salman Ali Agha with 107 and Babar Azam with 45 runs remained the main scorers for Pakistan.  For Sri Lanka, Eshan Malinga claimed four wickets, while Asitha Fernando took three.

In reply, Sri Lanka were all out at 268 runs in 48.1 overs. For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi took three wickets, while Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf and Faheem Ashraf claimed two wickets each.

Salman Ali Agha was declared Player of the Match.

Pakistan will face England in their next match in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
