In India, cases are being filed against the journalist community.

According to the international media, the journalists are faced with dozens of cases recently for raising their voice on atrocities against Muslims.

Last week, a Muslim man was allegedly tortured in Uttar Pradesh.  The state officials tried to suppress the incident. The journalists were threatened with dire consequences for writing about the brutal incident.

According to the international media, the journalist community in India is faced with strict state restrictions. Police registered cases against two Muslim journalists as they had raised their voice in support of Muslims on social media platforms.
