The United Nations has expressed concern over the winter storms in Northwest Syria, which are reportedly the largest so far this winter season.

According to the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the heavy rainfall across western Aleppo and Idlib governorates in Northwest Syria has reportedly caused damage to sites for internally displaced people, damaging tents and cutting off roads leading up to the camps.
