Rain with snow occurred at scattered places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab and Gilgit Baltistan.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, more light rain and snow are expected in few districts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas during evening/night.

Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad ten degree centigrade, Lahore nine , Karachi twenty two, Peshawar eight, Quetta five, Gilgit, Murree and Muzaffarabad three degree centigrade.   

According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of rain and snow is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula and partly cloudy, foggy weather is likely to prevail in Jammu.
