Mainly cold and dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. 

However, light rain with snowfall is expected in Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Fog is also likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab during the morning hours.  

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad and Quetta nine degree centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar twelve, Karachi eighteen, Gilgit and Murree five and Muzaffarabad ten degree centigrade.   

According to Met Office forecast in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and very cold weather is expected in Leh, Anantnag, Shopian, Pulwama, Baramulla, Srinagar and Jammu.
