The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has strongly condemned the killing of UN personnel in Gaza and called for a full investigation of airstrikes on UN staff members.

In a statement, he said locations of all UN premises are known to parties who are bound by international law to protect them.

The Secretary-General stressed the need for ceasefire.
