Relief and rescue operations are underway in all the 23 flood-affected districts of Sindh province.
Our Karachi correspondent Altaf Pirzado, reports that besides Sindh government Pak army, Pak navy, Pakistan air force, international aid agencies and other relief organizations are busy in relief activities in affected areas.
Meanwhile, in a statement, Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon said that so far two hundred fifty-six thousand two hundred and forty-eight tents, two hundred forty-four thousands plastic sheets, around two hundred thousand mosquito nets and over six hundred thousand ration bags have been distributed among affected people in the province.
He said that efforts are afoot to drain out rain water from affected areas with technical cooperation of Pak Army and district administration.
