Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif says Egypt's stability and progress is vital for peace and prosperity in the Middle Eastern region.

He said this during a meeting with Ambassador of Egypt, Dr Ihab Abdelhamid Hassan who called on him in Islamabad.

During the meeting Defence Minister highlighted that the relations between Egypt and Pakistan have a great potential to grow in all fields, including defence production.

The Defence Minister reiterated that Pakistan strongly condemns the Israeli aggression on Gaza and expresses full solidarity with people of in Palestine.
