Illegally detained Hurriyat leaders have drew the attention of the international community including the UN Chief and human rights organizations to the plight of tens of thousands of children in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In statements on the World Children’s Day, they appealed to the world community and international human rights organizations to realize the pain and sufferings of the Kashmiri children and put pressure on India to ensure the protection of the rights of Kashmiri children in the territory.
