Two earthquakes have rocked Türkiye's southern province of Hatay and northern Syria.

According to Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency , one of the quakes took place in the Defne district of Hatay, with a magnitude of 6.4, while the other 5.8 magnitude took place three minutes later in Samandag province.

Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said three people have been killed and over two hundred injured after a earthquake struck southern Hatay province.

Meanwhile, according to Syria Civil Defence White Helmets, more than 130 people were injured and that some already damaged buildings had collapsed.

A 7.8-magnitude quake struck the same area on 6 of this month, killing more than 44,000 people in Turkey and Syria.
