The two-day training workshop titled "Office Management Skills for Admin and Finance Officials" of Radio Pakistan concluded at Pakistan Broadcasting Academy in Islamabad on Friday.

The workshop was designed to impart and educate the participants about modern-day requirements for enhancing their administrative skills and efficiency.

Director General Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, Saeed Ahmad Shaikh, delivered thought provoking lectures on both the days aimed at capacity building of the officials of PBC Admin and Finance wings.

He said management skills are a collection of abilities which include planning, decision-making, problem-solving, communication and motivation.

He also shed light on different aspects of time management, rules, regulations and other skills which are key to improve performance and output of the employees.

He said the management of Radio Pakistan is making untiring efforts for uplift of the State broadcaster. He assured that all available resources would be utilized for solution of the problems of Radio Pakistan employees.

In his opening remarks, Principal Pakistan Broadcasting Academy, Dr. Javed Khattak, welcomed the participants for attending the training workshop, both in person and via video link. 

He said that the Academy would continue to play its key role in capacity building of the staff of Radio Pakistan.

He emphasized that such workshops contributed to the capacity building of officers and officials within any organization.
