A special presentation of renowned Writer and Director Kamran Shahid's debut film "Huey Tum Ajnabi" was held at Bukhari Auditorium, Government College University Lahore today.
On this occasion, a song of the movie sung by senior Sufi singer Abida Parveen was also released.
Vice Chancellor Government College University Lahore Professor Dr Asghar Zaidi was the chief guest of the event.
Director and Writer of the film Kamran Shahid told the audience that the film was the star studded romantic epic with the 1971 war between Pakistan and India forming a unique historic backdrop to an intense love story flourished in Dhaka University.
He said this mega starrer film will be released across country in cinemas on Eid-ul- Fitr.
He thanked Radio Pakistan for becoming an official media partner of the movie and expressed the hope that it would be helpful to boost popularity of the film among youth of the country.
Hero of the film Mikaal Zulfiqar said he performed the role as Nizam Ud Din, which was challenging but with the efforts of team, he tried well.
Renowned Actor Sohail Ahmed urged students to promote love and their rich culture which are the identity of our region and promote tolerance and patience in society.
Vice Chancellor Government College University Lahore Professor Dr Asghar Zaidi also hoped the film industry would revive after the release of the film.
