Rawalpindi Women University has successfully organized its fifth Annual Job Fair 2026.
The purpose of the event was to connect students and graduates with employment, internship, freelancing, and professional development opportunities.
The event brought together seventeen organizations from diverse sectors, including information technology, banking, healthcare, non-governmental organizations, and other corporate industries.
Participating companies engaged directly with students, offering insights into industry expectations, career pathways, and emerging trends such as remote work and freelancing.
Addressing the event, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza emphasized the critical role of women’s economic empowerment in ensuring Pakistan’s sustainable development and prosperous future.
She commended the university for providing a dynamic platform that bridges the gap between academia and industry, enabling students to align their skills with market demands.
She urged industry stakeholders to actively invest in female talent and foster inclusive, safe, and equitable workplaces where women can excel and contribute meaningfully.
She further noted that the inclusion of educated women in professional and decision-making roles is essential for strengthening the national economy.
The event concluded with a shield distribution ceremony, where senior faculty members and administrative officials recognized the participating organizations.
