Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in south Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad and Muzafarabad twenty-one degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-five, Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-three, Quetta twenty-four, Gilgit seventeen and Murree sixteen  degree centigrade.       

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramulla seventeen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-six, Leh seven, Anantnag and Shopian sixteen degree centigrade.
