Interior Minister of Iran, Eskandar Momeni along with Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry visited the Police Lines in Islamabad today.

Upon arrival, the Iranian Interior Minister was warmly welcomed at the parade ground, where a special contingent of the Islamabad Police presented guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.

The Iranian Interior Minister along with Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry inspected the parade. The national anthems of Pakistan and Iran were also played on the occasion.

In his remarks, Eskandar Momeni appreciated the professionalism of the Islamabad Police personnel. He also distributed prizes among the police personnel for their excellent performance.

Inspector General Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi and other senior police officers were also present on the occasion.
