Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has given his assent to the Sindh Emergency Rescue Service Act 2023 passed by Sindh Assembly earlier this month.

The act will immediately come into force in the province. The act will help in coordinating the emergency service 112 in the province.

Under the act, a Deputy Commissioner will be in-charge of rescue 112 emergency service at district level.
