Chairman of National Assembly Parliamentary Committee on China Pakistan Economic Corridor Sher Ali Arbab has said CPEC has laid the foundation of great industrial and economic development as Pakistan would emerge as a global economic power after completion of CPEC.

Addressing a seminar on "the role of parliament for industrial and economic development under CPEC" in Lahore on Thursday, he said we have to move forward for speedy industrial and economic growth.

Addressing the seminar, the Punjab Finance Minister Makhdom Hashim Jawan Bakht said Special Economic Zones in Allama Iqbal Industrial City Faisalabad are being constructed.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong while addressing the seminar through video link said Pakistan-China friendship is spreading over decades and economic cooperation between the two countries is increasing with every passing movement.
