Federal Minister for the Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has called for stronger trade and investment ties between Pakistan and South Africa.

Addressing the first Africa Diplomatic and Economic Conference in Karachi, he said both countries can help businesses access major markets in Africa, Central Asia and West Asia.

Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said the government is facilitating foreign investors through the Special Investment Facilitation Council.

Conference focused on expanding trade, investment and economic cooperation between Pakistan and African countries.

Representatives from South Africa, Morocco, Rwanda, Somalia, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Ethiopia and Côte d'Ivoire also participated in the conference.
