President Dr Arif Alvi has said peace is inevitable for sustainable development and the war has never been the solution to the conflicts.

He was addressing the 26th Sustainable Development Conference in Islamabad.

He questioned the world’s double standards to deal with the conflicts.

Talking about sufferings of Palestinians, he questioned whether the killings in Gaza would make the suffering people think for peace or have a reaction.

He said unfortunately the vested interests had overridden the rules.
