All Parties Hurriyat Conference has appealed to the people of IIOJK to mark India's Republic Day as Black Day being observed on Wednesday to register their protest against India's illegal occupation of the held territory.

In a message from New Delhi's infamous Tihar Jail, the APHC incarcerated Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt said India is involved in war crimes and human rights abuses, and has no right to claim to be the largest democracy of the world.

He urged the United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, to take cognizance of the prevailing volatile situation in IIOJK where human life has become extraordinary miserable due to the continued Indian oppression.

In a statement in Srinagar, the APHC spokesman expressed concern over the increasing harassment and intimidation of the people of Kashmir by the Indian forces' personnel in the name of so-called security measures in connection with the Republic Day celebrations.

Meanwhile, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism have martyred a Kashmiri youth in South Kashmir's Shopian district, on Saturday. The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in the Kilbal area of the district.

On the other hand, Indian police seized a small Pakistani flag, Saturday, along the Working Boundary in Samba district of Jammu region. The flag tied to a balloon landed inside the occupied territory at Raguchak in Ghagwal area of the district.
