Renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Wahiduddin Khan passed away last night in New Delhi due to Covid-19. He was 97.

Maulana Wahiduddin Khan wrote over 200 books on the tenets of Islam including a exegesis (tafseer) and a translation of the Quran in English and Urdu. He propagated the message of Islam across the globe.

He is survived by two sons and two daughters.
