Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, Dr Sania Nishtar says the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Policy has been designed to ensure that no student is deprived of higher education because he or she is unable to meet the financial requirements.  

She expressed these views during her visit to Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad today (Tuesday). 

The Special Assistant, during interaction with the students, said that a total of 90,000 scholarships worth 8.4 billion rupees are being awarded to deserving yet talented students for fiscal year 2020-21. She said these include 51 percent scholarships for girls.
