Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has called on the United Nations to convene an international peace conference to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Addressing the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly,  he also urged to implement the resolutions to provide protection for the Palestinian people from the constant aggression of the occupation army and the terrorist Israeli settlers.

Meanwhile, Israeli military forces have martyred two Palestinian and injured five others during a peaceful protest in Gaza strip.
