Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stressed the need to further strengthen cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in the fields of trade, energy, tourism and joint investment.

He made these remarks during a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Tehran.

The Iranian President said the two countries can meet part of their needs by relying on their regional capacities.

Mohsin Naqvi described the current relations between Tehran and Islamabad as being at a high level and expressed Pakistan’s readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
