Dengue prevention activities have been intensified across Punjab under the direction of Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care, Imran Sikandar Baloch.

In a statement today (Friday), the Secretary P&SHC said the health department continues operations to eradicate dengue larvae and their breeding.

He said that during the last 24 hours, 477 dengue patients were reported from across the province while 354 dengue patients were reported from Lahore alone.

He said 8,882 confirmed cases of dengue have so far been reported in Punjab.

Imran Sikandar Baloch urged the people to take precautionary measures against dengue.
