Governor Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Lahore on Friday.

They discussed administrative and political issues of the province.

Later, talking to newsmen, the Punjab Governor said Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved to declare Sub Campus of Agriculture University Faisalabad at Toba Tek Singh a proper university.

He said that the Prime Minister also issued instructions to officials of Punjab Government for provision of funds for the university.

Punjab Minister for Social Welfare Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari also called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Lahore on Friday.

On this occasion, he briefed the Prime Minister about on-going public welfare projects in the province.

The Prime Minister Imran Khan directed to take every possible measure for welfare of poor segments of society.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan has arrived in Lahore on a day-long visit.

He will chair different meetings on various administrative and development affairs of Punjab.
