Education Minister, Imam-e-Kaaba discuss Pak-Saudi educational collaboration

Caretaker Education Minister Madad Ali Sindhi has said the love and respect of people of Pakistan for Saudi Arabia has no limits as both countries share cultural, religious and historic ties.

Talking to Imam-e-Kaaba Saleh Bin Abdullah Bin Humaid who called on him in Islamabad today, he appreciated role of Saudi Arabia in addressing the global issues of the Ummat-e-Muslima.

He said a special research centre will be formed through collaboration of Saudi and Pakistani Universities which will focus on Seerat-e-Tayyeba (SAW).

The Minister said that thirty thousand Madrassas had been registered in Pakistan and now they were also providing religious, scientific and conventional education.

He said that the government wants to enlighten our religious leaders of the country and Saudi Arabia can help by giving trainings to clerics of Madrassas in Pakistan.

Madad Ali Sindhi said that the work and efforts of Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi has been exemplary.

Speaking on this occasion, Saleh Bin Abdullah Bin Humaid said that there should be collaboration on topics of mutual interest such as medicine, cyber security, climate change, engineering, artificial intelligence, distance learning, and renewable energy.  

Imam-e-Kaaba said Pakistanis are our brother and this relationship will always remain like this.
