Hamas and Israel have agreed on Qatar-mediated deal for a four-day pause in fighting in Gaza and exchange of prisoners held by both sides.

Under the deal, Hamas will release 50 captives in exchange for release of 150 Palestinian women and children in illegal Israeli custody.

Confirming the deal, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the pause will be subject to extension.

Israeli bombardments continued overnight across Gaza and the West Bank martyring at least 20 Palestinians and injuring dozens of others taking the martyrdom toll to over 14,100 since 7th of last month.
