President Dr. Arif Alvi says welfare of special persons is a big challenge and all segments of the society need to work for it.

In his letters to the media on Tuesday, the President urged them to create awareness for the rights and issues of special persons.

The President said the government is taking steps to make special persons financially independent and give them access to educational institutions and jobs.

Appreciating the role played by the media to create awareness about breast cancer and against COVID-19, the President expressed confidence that the media will again cooperate for promotion of rights of the special persons.
