Waheed Ahmed (Former Ambassador): Pakistan is making all out efforts in developing consensus on the Kashmir dispute. It is an honor that the Foreign Minister chaired the Annual Coordination Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in New York where he urged the OIC members to formulate an action plan to halt Islamophobia in India. The friendly countries have acknowledged the narrative of Pakistan on this long-standing issue and extended their support in this regard. The Kashmir issue must be resolved according to the wishes of Kashmiri people and in accordance with the UN resolutions. Afghanistan is also a country where the new Afghan government cannot sustain all alone. The Afghan people also need the support of the international community in terms of recognition and financial assistance. 

Dr. A. Z. Hilali (IR Expert): In an editorial published in the Guardian it was asked why Israel and India are above the law. OIC has condemned the Indian atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The fact is that the world cannot remain silent over the Kashmir issue as it is the main bone of contention between the two nuclear states. The world is witnessing the promotion of Hindutva ideology but its silence is beyond understanding. All this is happening in the so-called world's largest democratic state. There is need to take particle measures and the world should boycott India economically in order to pressurize it to stop its human rights abuses in the Occupied valley.
