Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Foreign Minister of Greece George Gerapetritis on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Foreign Minister Gerapetritis appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability, as well as its growing diplomatic engagement on the international stage.

The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening Pakistan-Greece bilateral relations, with particular focus on expanding trade, investment, and business-to-business linkages.

The valuable contribution of the Pakistani diaspora in Greece was also appreciated by the Greek Foreign Minister.

They exchanged views on regional and global developments, including energy supply chain disruptions, and underscored the importance of unhindered maritime movement.
