Private Hajj bookings have gained momentum following the Ministry of Religious Affairs' intervention and monitoring of the private Hajj scheme.

This was stated by Spokesperson Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Muhammad Umar Butt in a statement today.

He said the number of applications received through the Pak Hajj App has reached 21,547.

The Spokesperson said around fifty thousand seats are still available under the private Hajj scheme.

He advised private Hajj pilgrims to complete their payments through the Pak Hajj App. He cautioned intending pilgrims against making direct payments to any individual or company.

Muhammad Umar Butt said the last date for registration under the private Hajj scheme through the Hajj Portal is November 20 this year.

He said over two thousand Hajj packages offered by twenty-five authorized companies are available on the portal.

The Spokesperson said private Hajj pilgrims can report any complaints through the inquiry option available on the Hajj Portal.
