On International Day of Education, India has denied Kashmiri students their right to education.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service, on International Day of Education, said for Kashmiri students under brutal occupation, education means nothing as the Indian militarization has severely disrupted education in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

On the other hand, Indian police have tightened restrictions along the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir ahead of India's Republic Day celebrations on January 26.
