The grand military parade in connection with Pakistan Day celebrations will be held in Islamabad tomorrow (Thursday).

The contingents of the three armed forces and the security forces will conduct march past whilst fighter jets will present aerobatic maneuvers.

The parade was rescheduled due to inclement weather in the capital.

As per the notifications of the Deputy Commissioners of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, there will be a local holiday in the twin cities tomorrow (Thursday) in connection with the military parade.

To facilitate the Parade, Islamabad Traffic Police will restrict traffic on Islamabad Expressway from Khanna Bridge to Zero point between 5:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon.

Alternate routes are Peshawar Road to Golra and Kashmir Highway, Murree Road Cricket Stadium and 9th Avenue and Khanna Bridge to Tramari Chowk then Rawal Dam Chowk and Serena Chowk.
