Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has stressed the importance of modernizing exploration techniques to support Pakistan's oil, gas and mineral sector that will help fulfill economic needs of the country.

He laid this emphasis during his visit to the Geological Survey of Pakistan in Islamabad on Thursday to review its operations and discuss strategies for enhancing the country's mineral and hydrocarbon resource exploration potential. 

The Minister commended the role of the Geological Survey of Pakistan in national development by providing critical data to initiate resource exploration.

He said right investments in technology and expertise can help unlock vast opportunities in minerals to ensure economic security and drive industrial growth.
