Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb held a meeting with team of international company S&P Global in Washington.

The Minister welcomed the upcoming visit of the team to Pakistan later this month and briefed them about the country's macroeconomic outlook, fiscal consolidation measures, and key growth drivers.

He highlighted that the recent upgrading of Pakistan's credit rating to B by Fitch is a validation of Pakistan's structural reform agenda and testifies the growing confidence of investors in the country's economy.          

The Minister expressed the hope that S&P Global would also consider upgrading Pakistan's credit ratings in line with this positive momentum.
