Prime Minister's Coordinator Romina Khurshid Alam has extended Pakistan's congratulations to the president COP29 and Azerbaijan team on the successful adoption of the Baku Climate Unity Pact.

Addressing the closing plenary of COP29, she said Pakistan hopes for a more decisive and clearer decisions in COP30, where vulnerable developing countries will be given their due share.

Romina Khurshid Alam said multilateralism remains the cornerstone of Pakistan's climate diplomacy as it urges all Parties to uphold its spirit and return to the negotiating table with renewed commitment to address these outstanding critical issues comprehensively and equitably.
