In India, commenting on banning of the BBC documentary on Gujarat anti-Muslim riots, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has said that the truth always comes out and prevails despite Modi-regime bids to suppress it.
Talking to media, he said the documentary that details how the Gujarat state government led by Narendra Modi abdicated its responsibility and the violent Hindu mobs continued to run amok for days.
The second part of the two-part documentary, "the Modi question" was released in the United Kingdom yesterday and it revived the horrid memories of one of the deadliest communal riots in the country.
Meanwhile, Indian political and other groups have been protesting against the Modi-led BJP regime's ban by screening or trying to screen the BBC documentary in the country.
According to media reports, the documentary was screen in different parts of India despite the Modi-led BJP regime's crackdown on the video, barring it from showing or sharing on all social-media platforms.
