The Election Commission has ordered repolling in the entire constituency of NA-75 Daska in district Sialkot.

The ECP announced its reserved verdict in Islamabad on Thursday.

A five-member ECP bench heard the case and the decision was announced in presence of the candidates.

The repolling will be held on 18th of the next month.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission has summoned the Chief Secretary and the Inspector General Punjab Police to appear before the Commission in person on 4th of next month for committing negligence in discharging their duties during by-election in NA-75. 

According to ECP's press release, the Commission also directed to transfer Divisional Commissioner and Regional Police Officer of Gujranwala out of the Division.

It also ordered the Establishment Division to suspend the Deputy Commissioner and District Police Officer of Sialkot and the Assistant Commissioner of Daska.  

The ECP ordered the Federal and the Punjab governments to suspend Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Zeeshan Javed Lashari, DPO Sialkot Hassan Asad Alvi, AC Daska Asif Hussain, Deputy Superintendent of Police Zulfiqar Virk and DSP Daska Muhammad Ramzan Kamboh and they should not be given election duty in future.
