The United Nations has urged Gulf States to step up efforts for raising 3.85 billion dollars required for humanitarian operations in the war torn Yemen during current year.
The call was made by United Nations Aid Chief, Mark Lowcock while talking to reporters in New York.
He warned that if the world body does not receive the required money at a virtual pledging conference to be held on Monday, we are going to see the worst famine, the world has seen for decades in Yemen.
