Pakistan's Ambassador in Brussels Rahim Hayat met Permanent Observer of Organization of Islamic Cooperation Abdulkhaleq Ali Saeed Al Yafei and  briefed on India's continued attempts at mis-information and misrepresentation of the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He also thanked OIC for the Secretary General's Special Envoy for Jammu and Kashmir Ambassador Yousef M. Al Dobeay's recent visit to Azad Jammu and Kashmir where he reaffirmed OIC's commitment to stand behind the just cause of the Kashmiri people.

They also discussed the situation in Palestine and agreed to foster deeper cooperation in Brussels.

Ambassador Rahim Hayat Qureshi also met the Permanent Representative of Croatia to the European Union Irena Andrassy.

They held a productive exchange on evolving regional and global dynamics and discussed matters of mutual interest in the context of Pakistan-EU relations.
