Amb. AM Shahid (Former Diplomat):Islamabad Accord between the US an Iran is marvelous achievement of Pakistan’s robust diplomacy. In result of Iranian President’s visit to Pakistan, both Pakistan and Iran can higher bilateral cooperation. Iran can join China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other initiatives to boost regional and international connectivity for higher economic and trade related cooperation. Both Pakistan and Iran can also cement road and rail connectivity as Pakistan is connected to China and beyond Central Asia.  Moreover, In result of implementation on MoU signed between the US and Iran we can hope for durable global peace and order. We can also hope for peaceful resolution of Iran’s nuclear issue by implementing this MoU. However, due course of implementation of this MoU, there may be some sort of differences on both sides but they would also be sorted out successfully and peacefully in the long run. I feel Iranians have proved to be great negotiators as they have won everything they wanted to achieve at negotiation table despite losing entire first tier leadership in the war. We hope that MoU will win global backing including UN and European Union and lead the world towards progress and prosperity.
