
Eid Milad-ul-Nabi ﷺ was celebrated today with great religious fervor and solemnity.
The day dawned with a thirty-one-gun salute in the Federal Capital and a twenty-one-gun salute at all provincial capitals. It was a public holiday today.
Special prayers were offered after the Fajr prayer for unity of the Muslim Ummah and the progress and prosperity of the country.
The main event of the day was the International Seerat-un-Nabi Conference held in the Federal Capital.
The theme of the conference was Protection, Development and Character Building of the Younger Generation in the Light of Seerat-un-Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Alihi Wasallam.
Milad processions were taken out in all cities in which Ulema and Khateeb highlighted all aspects of life of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ, stressing adherence to his teachings and Sunnah.
Streets, roads, buildings, mosques and houses were decorated with green buntings, flags and colorful lights to mark this auspicious occasion.
