Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with the Foreign Minister of Bahrain Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The two leaders discussed bilateral relations, including preparations for the forthcoming 3rd Session of the Joint Ministerial Commission.

They exchanged views on regional and international developments.

Foreign Minister Al Zayani appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability.

They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation and maintaining close coordination at bilateral and multilateral fora.
