Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the need to further strengthen the role of export-oriented industries for the growth and stability of the economy.

He was talking to President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali Hussam Asghar in Lahore today.

The Prime Minister said the government is working in collaboration with the private sector to promote economic activities and create a conducive business environment.

The meeting discussed the overall economic situation, promotion of business and trade, issues faced by industries, and provision of facilities to the business community.

The Prime Minister constituted a committee to review the proposals aimed at increasing production and employment.
