Five people were martyred and nineteen others injured in a suicide blast at Saryab Road in Quetta on Saturday.  

SP Quetta Javed Iqbal Garsheen told our correspondent that nineteen people including children and women were wounded in the blast .

The injured people were shifted to different hospitals in Quetta for treatment.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai and Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri have strongly condemned the blast.    

They expressed grief and sorrow over the incident and condoled with the bereaved families.
