
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has directed the concerned authorities to expedite work on completion of under construction highways in tribal districts.
Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, he stressed the need for a comprehensive plan and transparent utilization of development funds to remove the sense of deprivation of tribal people.
The meeting was informed that seven hundred and fifty-four-meter-long Nahakki Tunnel in Mohmand has been completed at a cost of over 2.4 billion rupees.
He said this tunnel will reduce distance between Mohmand and Bajaur districts besides promoting tourism and industry in the area.
